Detail

One of our most popular rugs, Andes is a hand-woven textured floor rug featuring a ribbed design — the range bringing a coastal vibe with beautiful visual interest.

Made from 50% Wool and 50% Cotton, Andes uses chunky spun wool yarn and warp threads in cotton to tie down the chunky woollen yarn. Finished with full cotton backing and edging for improved longevity and wear, the rug's strength and stability makes it best suited for general living areas, such as bedrooms and sitting rooms.

Andes Rug in Feather is soft and simultaneously warm with cool grey tones.

The Andes rug is available in 1.6m x 2.3m, or 2m x 3m.

Created by craftsmen using artisan skills, all rugs are individually handmade. As a result, our rugs can vary by 5% from the size ordered.

Care
We recommend a non-slip underlay should always be placed under rugs. It will stop the rug slipping, create more depth underfoot and lessen wear on the rug. It also prevents the risk of dye transfer to the under surface and helps protect timber flooring.
Sun exposure for extended periods of time may cause fading. Items should be rotated regularly to minimise colour change and damage.
It is best to vacuum your rug before any dirt is embedded, ideally twice a week in the first few months. Vacuum regularly with low suction power.
Avoid direct sunlight where possible.
Shedding of fibres from new rugs is to be expected and will reduce with time.

Spot treatment:
We recommend treating spots and spills immediately with warm water and paper towel. If the stain persists, contact a professional rug cleaner as soon as possible. Do not scrub rugs as it may cause permanent pile damage.
